Author Mack Maloney believes he has proof that UFOs exist, and he makes this controversial claim in his new book UFOs IN WARTIME: WHAT THEY DIDN’T WANT YOU TO KNOW (Berkley Mass Market; December 6, 2011; $7.99).
They are mentioned throughout the bible, found in Renaissance art, on ancient coins and on cave paintings. From Ancient to Modern times, UFOs have made their presence known during times of conflict especially throughout the 20th century. But the question remains, why?
From accounts of UFOs being spotted by pilots in World War II, to strange episodes in the Korean War, and stories of UFOs aiding George Washington in the American Revolution, UFOs have always been a part of our lives. These thrilling, war encompassed true stories will leave readers questioning if someone or something is looking in on us.
UFOs IN WARTIME – What they Didn’t Want You To Know
Talking Points
1. The book proves UFOs are real simply by the sheer number of sightings made by military personnel during times of conflict. These people are in the middle of combat — they’re not about to be making up a story, or having a hallucination or perpetrating a hoax. Often they are fighting for their lives when they make these observations. In this way, they are the best witnesses we have — trained pilots, sailors and soldiers, both officers and enlisted personnel. Since World War One, there have been thousands of UFO sightings made by these people.
2. In 1947, the U.S. Air Force asked its Air Technical Intelligence Center to determine if UFOs existed. After a six-month study, the ATIC stunned the Pentagon by reporting that UFOs were real, and probably not of this Earth. If there was ever a chance for the U.S. government to do a serious study of UFOs, this was it. But instead, the Pentagon higher-ups ordered the ATIC to revise its study. The second conclusion was that UFO sightings were the result of “hoaxers, religious fanatics or hallucinations.” If there is an on-going cover up of UFOs by the U.S. government, this is where it began.
