breaking…Video – unconfirmed – breaking…

Workers at the Hohhot Air Traffic Management Bureau observed with instruments an unidentified flying object (UFO) 40 kilometers east of Baotou, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at 8 p.m. on Sept. 11.

“The airport received a notice from the Hohhot Air Traffic Management Bureau about the appearance of an UFO. To guarantee security, the aircraft heading for the airport had to land at secondary airports. Otherwise, it may have led to collisions,” said Ms. Luo, from the Baotou Airport.

Around 9:14 p.m., three flights from Beijing and Shanghai to Baotou were delayed, and the aircraft were forced to circle in the air while waiting to land.

Furthermore, the Air China Flight 1107 from Beijing to Baotou landed at the Erdos Airport and the Juneyao Airlines Flight 1137 from Shanghai to Baotou landed at the Taiyuan Airport.

The Baotou Airport did not receive a notice on resuming normal operations until 10 p.m.

New china airport UFO photos

July 13, 2010  Hong Kong, China – Around 9 PM  on July 7, 2010, Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou in Eastern China was reportedly closed for four hours after a large, brightly lighted aerial object of unknown origin was seen and photographed. The People’s Daily Online in its July 9, 2010, English edition, quoted an unnamed airport spokesman, “Some flights were rerouted to airports in the cities of Ningbo and Wuxi. A source with knowledge of the matter told China Daily on Thursday that authorities had learned what the UFO was – after an investigation. But it was not the proper time to publicly disclose the information because there was a military connection, he said, adding that an official explanation is expected to be given on Friday, July 9.”

UFO closes China airport – video

Was it a UFO or secret military aircraft that caused the shutdown of China’s Xiaoshan Airport for an hour on Wednesday night? Whatever it was, it was recorded on airport radar at about 9 p.m.

According to the Xinhua news agency, after the unidentified flying object was spotted, airport authorities stopped passengers from boarding planes, and outgoing flights were grounded for an hour in Hangzhou, the capital city of China’s Zhejiang province. When officials closed the airport, incoming flights were rerouted to other airports. So far, no explanation has been offered to explain the UFO. However, several hours before the airport incident, many Hangzhou residents described seeing a large, brightly lit, elongated object in the sky.

China Daily reported that authorities may know more about the mystery UFO than they’re letting on, hinting that there might be a military connection and that a final explanation may be forthcoming today.

This is certainly not the first time an unexplained object has been observed in China. In July 2009, during the viewing of a solar eclipse in China, scientists at the Purple Mountain Astronomical Observatory in Nanjing filmed 40 minutes of a UFO reportedly near the sun. No definitive explanation of the event has emerged.

In a Jan. 11, 2000, article, The New York Times reported that many UFOs were seen in the skies above China, noting that “the normally conservative official news media have been lavishing attention on UFO news.”

The Times added that “this is an extraordinary reversal in a country where, 25 years ago, life was so focused on Communist politics that most people could not imagine anything so ethereal as an unidentified flying object, and expressing belief in them might have been a ticket to jail.”
