Tony Dodd - The Alien Abduction Phenomenon

The alleged alien abduction phenomenon has been the focus of heated debate over the years with arguments both for and against them being real physical events. The skeptics argue that there has never been any real evidence to prove that these events are actually taking place and that they are no more than the results of psychologically disturbed minds. Others argue that the phenomenon is produced in the minds of people who are exposed to high levels of electrical radiation. Certain scientists conducted experiments using a motor -cycle helmet connected to electrodes. These helmets were worn by a cross section of volunteers to see if the electrical current would produce the alien like hallucinations, described by many alleged abductees. Although a dream like state was produced in certain cases, nobody experienced the alien type syndrome.

The use of hypnosis was next to be criticized as being unreliable and very easy to manipulate. In other words the interviewer could quite easily put words into the subjects mind by lack of experience in interviewing and in other cases the subject would say what they thought the interviewer wanted to hear. What the skeptics failed to say was, in many cases regressive hypnosis has been used very successfully in law enforcement cases to recover forgotten information. Although not necessarily 100% accurate in all cases, it would be foolish to discount hypnosis altogether as a tool of memory recovery.

After investigating over a hundred alleged alien abduction cases I am firmly convinced that in many cases a real physical phenomenon is involved and will debate some of these cases in this article. A question often put to me is, "Do you think the authorities are aware that these things are occurring and if so why do they continue to deny it". The answer to this is that they certainly know that these things are happening and are very worried that they have no control over the events. Remember that alien abduction affects people in all walks of life, including people at the highest levels of government and the military and to admit publicly that these things are happening would open a floodgate of panic which governments would not be able to contain.

There has been ever increasing speculation that the American Military are involved in the abduction of certain people and I have no doubt that this is happening. There is also no doubt that the American Government and military at the highest level has formed an alliance with certain alien races that are assisting with a secret agenda. This in no way detracts from the fact that thousands of individuals in many countries are being subjected to the alien abduction phenomenon. Once again the skeptics will say, "Where is the smoking gun, where is the proof that these events are actually occurring". My answer to them is, "how many alleged abduction cases have you dealt with, what is your experience in these matters". It is very easy to rubbish these things off hand, because it does not fit in with our known reality or scientific understanding. At the present time all the evidence must be considered and a conclusion reached on the balance of probabilities. The law of the land has stood by these principles for hundreds of years, why should it be any different for UFOs. And the alien phenomenon, unless as I said earlier, there are those in Government who are hiding the truth.
