Time: Approximately 11:30am
Date: Sunday, May 2nd, 2004
Location: Venice, California - while approaching
the intersection of Rose and Hamilton. Object was sighted
to the south.
Witnesses: 2 on record, and 3 passersby.
Duration: Approximately 45 minutes. |

Statement:
While walking to the beach, my girlfriend and I noticed a dark spot
in the sky above some telephone lines. At first we casually joked
that it was a UFO, but as we approached it and tried to make sense
of it, the joking stopped.
I told her to stay and keep an eye on the object
and bolted home for a video camera. When I returned the object was
much smaller, and much further south. Although I had some initial
problems with the camera, I managed to catch some of the object
on video. The object descended, ascended, moved eastward, ascended
again, and then moved north, out of the camera's range. We continued
to observe it until it disappeared in the direction of the Santa
Monica Mountains. This footage is our only evidence.

Dear Daz,
What I saw, before I ran home like a schoolboy
to get my videocamera, can only be described as a metal disc in
the sky. It was so out of place, it was as though special effects
had been added to my reality. As a result, my reality has profoundly
changed. It's one thing to believe in extraterrestrial life, and
quite another to KNOW. I've received email from perhaps over 50
people who have described and taken photos of the same object. These
vehicles of a greater technology than ours are crowding our skies,
indeed! The name of your site couldn't be more apt.
